Owens Corning’s Foamular Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) Insulation became the first rigid foam insulation in North America to undergo an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). The EPD, which describes the environmental impact of a product from cradle-to-grave, was published in order to continue the Owens Corning’s commitment to product transparency and sustainability, according to the company. The Foamular XPS Insulation is a comprehensive line of rigid foam products used in residential and commercial buildings for sheathing, foundation, under slab, re-siding, commercial roofing, under road plaza deck and commercial walls.
