A new addition to the canopy and soffit lighting series, the LED CPY250 lighting fixture from Cree Inc. was developed to consume 75 percent less energy than metal halide systems and deliver 35 percent more performance, according to the company. Available in flat and prismatic drop lenses, the luminaire provides the visual as well as the vertical and horizontal illumination needs of a typical canopy application. With a 10-year limited warranty, the product can mount onto virtually any canopy deck, secured into place with self-sealing screws that provide a watertight seal, according to the company.
