Bio-based Concrete
Weston, Ohio-based Cresset recently debuted the Crete-Lease Bio-Tru ALL-Xtra with poly-release. This product has earned the U.S. Department of Agriculture bio-based product certification, a certification that’s required for contractors working on federally funded construction sites. As one of the first architectural quality bio-based form release agents to receive this certification, Cresset offers environmentally- friendly and sustainable concrete forms that are made from vegetable-based materials. These materials offer an extremely low VOC rating and allow for custom application methods that will determine to final appearance of the concrete. The product is not recommended to be used with forms or formliners made from expanded polystyrene, SBR, rubber or latex.
